Our Services

Overcoming Anxiety & More

At some point in our lives, we are all likely to encounter a number of uncomfortable emotions, including depression, fear, and anxiety. These are some of the most common examples. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.

Healing Religious Trauma

Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. Lots of pain can caused by religious institutions. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.

Strengthen Your Bonds

Marriage and relationships take work. Its always thought of as a negative connotation if we say something "takes work". When the reality is anything worth having take's work, dedication, tools and time. Marriage and relationships are no different. Whether you're in a monogamous relationship, poly-amorous relationship or just trying to navigate vulnerability and learning to trust others we are happy to work with you.

IMAGO THEARPY

Imago (Latin for “image”) is a relationship therapy approach created by Harville Hendrix and Helen LaKelly Hunt. It describes an unconscious “template” for love that forms in childhood based on our caregivers’ traits. Imago theory suggests we’re often drawn to partners who reflect both the strengths and struggles of our early caregivers—partly because those familiar dynamics can activate unresolved wounds and create opportunities for healing.

Key elements of Imago Relationship Therapy (IRT)

  • The Imago concept: We may unconsciously choose partners who resemble the caregivers connected to our unfinished childhood pain or unmet needs.

  • The goal: Turn conflict into a pathway for growth, reconnection, and mutual healing.

  • Imago Dialogue (a 3-step structure):

    • Mirroring: The listener repeats back what they heard, without critique or interpretation.

    • Validation: The listener acknowledges that the partner’s perspective makes sense from their point of view.

    • Empathy: The listener identifies and reflects the feelings underneath what the partner shared.

  • Core principles: Emphasizes emotional safety, reducing negativity, and relating to one another with compassion—often through the lens of understanding each partner’s “wounded” younger parts.

Note: In biology, “imago” refers to the final adult stage of an insect (for example, a butterfly).

Somatic Therapy

Somatics is the study of the body and its language with the goal to gain a greater awareness of ourselves and the world around us. As we connect with and accept everything that we are, this awareness can give us an immediate feeling of wholeness.

Somatic's is a therapeutic, sensation-based approach to discovery of oneself, and personal development is offered by somatics.

By developing a bond with the felt sense, we are enabled to bring our awareness and presence to the images, feelings, emotions, and sensations that are transmitted and contained by our wild, intricate, and fragile neurological systems.

As a result, we begin to understand our bodies' breathing, movement, and truth-speaking deeply. You acquire a capacity to live from your embodied aliveness.

Authentic Living

Living in a hetero-normative society and feeling like you have had to check a box is simply surviving life.  Learning to be authentic is powerful and is vital to peace and happiness. Healing hurts from hateful family members is possible. Learning who you are and building a core identity is possible.  If you have ever felt like your insides doesn't match the outside, reach out to us and let us help you navigate your journey.

Family & Self-Discovery

Where should you begin?  It is good to look inward before beginning your search. You and your partner working is together is important to envision what you want as you build your family. We can bush up basic communication tools. Also, we can learn how to resolve conflict without doing harm. We will talk about parenting rolls. All the time, we will be reflecting on how your family planning process will work for you. There is much to reflect on before you start looking for surrogate mothers, donors, or children to adopt.

Starting a family is a different world for LGBT Couples and it is helpful to work with a therapist can help the self-reflective process of family planning. You will have difficult decisions to make. It will be a long and overwhelming process. But we can work together to make sure that you have a positive experience in all of this family planning.

Life Coaching

Life coaching is a process that aims to help clients achieve concrete goals, identify and overcome obstacles to well-being and performance, and build skills that may be interfering with their success. Life coaches can help you clarify your goals, identify the obstacles holding you back, and then come up with strategies for overcoming each obstacle. Our life coach will utilize your strengths to help you develop a life of balance, joy, peace and happiness.

Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders

UP  is a transdiagnostic CBT-based approach designed to treat the underlying emotional processes that show up across anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, and other emotion-driven concerns. Rather than focusing on one diagnosis at a time, it teaches clients practical skills—like increasing emotional awareness, reducing avoidance and safety behaviors, strengthening flexible thinking, and gradually facing uncomfortable emotions through exposure. The goal is to build healthier emotion regulation and long-term resilience, no matter what “label” the symptoms fall under.

The Meaning Behind Our Name

People often ask why we chose this name.

From Amy: While I was in graduate school to become a therapist, my father passed away from Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis before I finished my master’s degree. I miss him every day. He was my hero and taught me how to love and have empathy for others. When we discussed a name, he suggested “Inspiration.”

One definition of inspiration is “the drawing of breath.” To me, it also means setting a goal and doing the work to keep moving forward—even through pain and grief. That’s what we help clients do: find support, build tools, and learn to thrive, not just survive.

We’re honored to be part of your healing journey.
